realistic comfort as
a visual strategy
no staged perfection,
no empty rooms,
but lived-in spaces
I create aesthetic, yet realistic visual lifestyle content for hotels, Airbnbs and hostels that shows how a space is actually experienced.
The goal: that potential guests can picture themselves living in it – not just looking at it.

why realism over perfection?
Perfection is a fantasy. And while people might enjoy looking at fantasy, that’s not what they’re actually searching for when booking a vacation, a travel stay or a backpacking location to rest for a few days. What they are looking for is having their expectations met. When brands focus on selling a version of a place that isn’t realistically achievable, it often leads to mismatched expectations and disappointment on the guest’s side. Which naturally results in fewer recommendations and weaker long-term results. When the focus shifts to reality, to what it actually feels like to spend time in a space and what is truly possible to experience there, something different happens: the people who book already know what they’re coming for. And that leads to more aligned, satisfied guests.
who I am?
A writer, web designer, visual storyteller and current full-time traveler.
Which means I spend a lot of my time moving between hotels, Airbnbs and hostels. Different cities, different rooms, different spaces that become a small part of my everyday life – at least for a little while.
Spending so much time in different places has given me a natural eye for how people – myself included – actually experience a space. And how naturally different we use it depending on where we are. I live differently in a hostel dorm than I do in a private hostel room. And differently again when checking into a hotel or settling into an Airbnb.
I adore the joy that slow morning routines in a hotel bring me. And yet, finding my favorite spot on the rooftop of a hostel in Medellín still empty brings me joy just as much, although a completely different kind of it.
Those small differences and how to capture them are what I pay attention to.

how I work
not just aesthetics - but lived experience
not messy - but human
When creating content for hotels, Airbnbs or hostels, I don’t see it as simply filming a few videos and being done with it. I approach each place with an individual perspective – the one of a real guest. I capture the moments that make a stay feel natural, lived-in and inviting, while keeping a strong aesthetic focus. Further, I always consider how a person staying there would realistically experience the space – how am I actually using it while I’m there?
I’d dare to say that it’s easy to shoot beautiful photos and videos of a place in its perfect, untouched nature, presenting it as the destination of your dreams. But often those pieces of content only sell the idea of being there, not the real experience of staying.
My approach is slightly different: while appearances remain important, the aesthetic I focus on is one that feels more natural and believable.
If an Airbnb has a kitchen, I will create a video preparing a meal.
If there’s a private bathroom, I like to capture a calm morning or evening routine.
If the space is small, I want viewers to see how cozy it is regardless and how they can truly relax and enjoy it.
The goal is to help potential guests imagine themselves in the space in a way that feels genuine – not exaggerated, not something that it is not – while still beautifully presenting it.
This is why my content always focuses on four key principles:
- Lived moments over overly constructed scenes
- Aesthetic but realistic environments
- Everyday interactions with the space and its assets
- Subtle storytelling through routines
how this serves your brand
As my content helps your guests imagine themselves directly in your space – with the quiet mornings, cozy corners and small routines – your brand gets content that makes a stay feel personal to the viewer.
By capturing these moments in a natural, realistc way, your brand gets:
- Authentic, relatable and yet aesthetic visuals
- Content ready for social media, websites and marketing campaigns
- A stronger connection with potential guests before they even arrive
- Visual storytelling that reflects the real experience of staying with you
Every asset is created with your brand and your guests in mind, so your content doesn’t just look good – it feels good.
how your brand can use this content
- Social media posts and short-form videos
- Website visuals and landing pages
- Digital advertising campaigns
- Newsletters and marketing emails
- Booking platforms or promotional material
By showing how a space feels to live in, sleep in, wake up in, cook in, spend time in and not only how it looks, this kind of content helps future guests form a connection with the place before they even arrive.
let's collaborate!
If you’re a hotel, hostel or Airbnb looking for authentic visual content that captures the real experience of staying in your space, I’d love to hear from you.
Each collaboration is shaped around the property and the type of content you’re looking for. Pricing and scope are discussed individually to make sure the project fits your needs.
If this feels like the right fit or would like to receive a general pricing structure, feel free to reach out and tell me a little about your space.
